Cancelation Help...

Verizon81

We can terminate our contract renewal up until Dec. 11 (ends our 30 days.)

Unfortunately the economy has hit my wife and I from out of the blue....we had renewed ont othe $99 select plan and I got a blackberry with data (yay!)

NOW......my company gave me some very bad news and I can not afford any extra expenses.

We either will need to cancel or go back to our old contract which is no longer offered.

Americas choice 59.99 plus 2 $10 in text packages....will verizon let me do that instead of just canceling?

help and guidance is appreciated....thanks all 🤭

You should be able to go back, if withing the 30 day period...

They would have to revert to the old plan, and would have to shuffle around to get it done, but I do belive it would be done that way.

Yes, you definitely have the option of going back to your old plan without the data as long as you drop the BlackBerry (it requires a data plan).

You can do this in a few ways. If you just purchased the BlackBerry, return it. Upgrade to something else that doesn't require data.

If you go the BlackBerry elsewhere or otherwise didn't renew with it, or if you just want to hang onto it for in the future, switch back to your old phone by calling 800-922-0204 (from another phone). Have them change your phone over, that will drop the data plan.

As far as going back to America's Choice, that's not totally necessary. You can go on the same version of the Nationwide plan, you would be billed per MB for any data you use on your old phone (o...
