Random Thoughts...

I have, along with thousands of early adopters got a Storm on Friday. That being said, I'm still in limbo. By limbo, meaning stuck with it(got a multiple FRU exchange at the cost of a contract renewal). I'm not a BB guru and yet, not a novice either. I come here to get genuine insight on what has become my new addiction(gym shoe freak, I bought new kicks every week. over 400 pairs of gym shoes). While I really enjoy the "OOH & AH Factor", it's not as functional as my curve was. I'm starting to realize this, and should know better. You can't beat a qwerty, no way, no how. What our your favorite kicks? I like brooks and asics the best! I bought a pair of brooks running pants today and REI, i love them just as much as my Storm! I will probably eat honey nut Cheerios in the morning even tho i shouldn't. I think that the next version of the Storm software will be more touch friendly. Like reviews have noticed, the software is still very close to what is on phones that have a "trackball" feature, so some of the menues are a little small. I am willing to bet that they will have that fixed before too long.

On another note, the first update is out for the phone, and I've been having feedback from customers that it does improve the responsiveness quite a bit.

A new version of the Storm? I feel like the original iPhone crowd who should have waited on the updated model.

Not a new version of the storm as much as a reworking of their UI. While they made the main ui touch friendly, the "Options" menu is rather small.
