The t9 is actually nice. You could actually type faster with t9 or the suretype than with the qwerty keyboard. If you like using t9, you will like it. I have been playing with the phone the last 3 days and it is nice.

ok so question when typing do you have to press hard each button like you do when selecting menu items or when typing its fast and can go from button to button without waiting??

You will have to press the keys hard as if you were selecting menus. This will assure that you will type the letter you are pressing. It is not hard at all. You could get use to it.
