i found out that the storm will have the full keyboard, suretype, and multitap which is like t9 word!!!!!
it was my dream for this phone to have something like t9 because that is the fastest way to type a short message out!!!!!!

in my opinion qwerty is still faster than T9, Ive used both, and I dont know if I could ever go back to T9 after using a qwerty for almost 2 years now.

true but its good to have both. if you are txting while driving (none of us do that obviously but im just sayin) the smaller keyboard is easier to use with one thumb. so both is great

actually multitap is like ABC you tap it twice for b etc.
suretype is like word in that you press each key just once and keep on typing and it figures what you are saying. the only diff is it will have QW, ER, TY etc 2 per button but you just press once and go it works well.

as I said... the t9 type option is suretype. the only diff between suretype and t9 is that t9 has 3 letters per key and suretype uses just 2 per key. but its the same principle.

thats why im so excited because that way easier to type with one thumb bc letters in one button means bigger buttons!
