I have an LG VX 6000 that keeps entering manner mode and will not ring. Can anyone help me. I know I can press the * key to get it out of that mode but it goes back some time during the day. 🙂

the button on the outside under the volume button will activate the manner mode while the phone is closed. Press and hold again it will turn it to silent all and one more will turn it back to normal. 🤣

Also, the buttons on the side that control ringer volume when the handset is open, if pushed too high or too low will set it into vibrate as well!

Thanks for the quick response.
Can I disable this button. The phone in my wife's purse goes into manner-mode regularly. The LG VX6000 is a great phone. Reception is fantastic. 🙂

Unfortunatley you can not disable the button on the outside. Have her try locking the phone by holding down the # key her unlock code is the last 4 of her number unless she has already changed it
