My wife and I have a family 500 plan (no longer offered) We are wondering if VZW has new plans on the horizon? We can renew in Nov. Or if they are looking at including or reworking current plans...like including mobile web in the 99 plan?

Thanks

You should be able to stay on your plan as long as you don't get a phone with a full HTML browser. If you go to one of those phones you'll have to go from Americas Choice to Nationwide. They do have a Loyalty plan for existing customers that is 550 minutes for the same price as your 500 minutes that you could go to without issue.

I would think going to the loyality plan would be considered a plan change which then would force them to the nationwide plan.

Thanks for the info everyone!

What about plans for alacarte options...for instance adding unlimited texts and mobile web for 20 bucks...just an example....any talk of retooling their current plans?

what are you looking for? web is included in all nationwide plans at 1.99/mb. you can add vcast for 15$ a month (free first month) if you use more then 7 MB a month or want the extras (Video, ESPN MPV).

you can add txting for 5$, 10$, 15$ per line. or go to the nationwide 700 select fsp for 99.99. it includes 700 mins and unlimited txt pix flix im messaging.

there are no plans to change the plans that im aware of. they are working pretty well.
