LG Dare questions-Phantom1359 and vzw-rich
I see both of you say that you've used the Dare. How large is the screen? Is it larger than the 2.8 on the Voyager? Is it closer to the Iphone's 3.5? And also, how is the music player? Is it just the standard vzw music player, or is it the one that the chocolate uses?

the screen size is closer to the size of the iphone rather than voyager. its overall shape is more like the iphone. the music player is like the chocolate. it allows you to multitask while listening to music. also the price is 199.99 after the rebate it was posted on internal documents.

yeah i like the screen size alot better than the voyager. its also pretty cool cause you can move around icons with your finger and such. the way the screen adjusts the screen when you turn the phone is amazing. should be a sweet phone

I am ready to switch to Verizon from AT&T, but cannot decide on a phone. I would like the Curve, but I find the keyboard to be too small and cramped. I would get the Q9c, but the inadequate RAM and lockups rule it out. Will the Dare have any way to sync with Outlook? Also, will it have a good HTML web browser? Finally, will it be able to work with my Yahoo IMAP mail account?

well the dare will be able to do what your looking for with wireless sync ($20) and mobile email ($20). now the $20 for email ls basically vcast plus $5 for email. the vcast is also the web on the phone. from what i saw from the dare the html browser was better than the voyager but i was only playing with the prototype. the curve is honestly a great phone for the stuff your looking for. i have it and the keyboard was hard at first but it works perfectly for me now plus its only $30 a month for unlimited email and internet. hope that was helpful

Well...I guess I don't need to answer now huh 🤣 but yes the screen is bigger and the player is like he said. All of LG's phones are going to have that style from this now on since it's...well...better. The accelerometer is great...as is the light sensor. Dare es muy bueno 🙂
