So I've searched verizons site but can't find my answer......

Originally I was looking to upgrade to the ENV2 but I really like the BB Curve.

Is there a family plan I can use a BB on & 2 regular devices? Or do I need a special seperate BB plan?

Currently I have a 2 line family plan 700 mins.
We never go over due to almost everyone we know being on VZW. I want the BB, unlim data (main line only), and want to add txt - is this possible on a family plan?

I can't even find the new data plans on VZWs website.....maybe it's me......

You most definately can stay on your family share plan. What you would have to do is just add the unlimited data pack for $29.99/month onto your primary line.

Yea what they said...unless you need corporate e-mail...then it's $44.99. But the Blackberry can be added to your current plan and it is just a data feature on top (like text messages, VCast, International Dialing etc...) Just don't be shocked by the bill jump.

OK - I did a dummy order online & I think this is what I'll need but correct me if I have something wrong:

Going to change to family share 3 line (adding stepson who likes to txt & TT GF a LOT but she is VZW as well)

Nationwide select FS plan 1400 mins (unlim txt & in calling on all lines, right?) 129.98

Primary - BB Curve with added 29.99 data (unlim)

2nd - ENV2 - with vpak 15.00(unlim data)
this way my stepson can txt all he wants & use all the vcast stuff.

3rd - Samsung Juke - no add ons - husb doesn't do any of that stuff.

Total - mo/ 174.97 before my 20% discount.

Does discount apply to plan (129.9😎 only? or does it apply to the data plan, vpak, etc?

Oh - also, if I find we aren't coming close to 1400 and can do 700, can I change plans at any time, no charge?

I'm just worried w/stepson added the 700 wont be enough, hence the 1400 plan. He says he doesn't have that many friends out of network but every parent knows how that goes.....

You can change at any time. However, if you change to a lower plan during the billing cycle, make sure the prorations won't cause any problems.

Yes, the Select plan includes Unlimted Text and Unlimited In-Network minutes and Unlimited Nights and Weekends. The company discount will only apply to the cost of the primary line (110.00) not to any secondary lines. If you are an employee liable plan, most of the time you do not have a data plan discount. Some do have a discount from the data (would be from the $29.99). VCast is not discounted (though it is free for a month). Again, make sure the $29.99 plan is what you need and that you won't be needing to check corporate e-mail on a BIS server (won't work with that plan).

As for the phones, sounds right though why torture your husband with a juke? 🤣 And...you have to be eligble to upgrade on that line to acquire the "free...

Haha - I'll have to tell my husb that.
He already has the juke. I just did the dummy order because that was the only way the website let me see all options.

He has a juke, not eligible for upgrade yet. He likes the small size🙂

I am eligible for NE2 so want to upgrade to the BB & will be adding another line for stepson - so I have to change the plan.

To answer your other question as well, yes you can change your plan at any time and as vertigo said, watch for prorates. Your best bet is to start at 1400 and monitor for 3 months. If you are not going over 700 for 3 months in a row, then call Customer Service and request to have the plan dropped on the next bill cycle (so would end up at 4 months). This would avoid all pro-rates and your bills don't get...interesting...to say the least.

Well just remember, when you purchase the Blackberry, not only do you get your New Every Two and the mail-in rebate, you also get the Advanced Device Discount.

And I'm sorry to hear he already has the juke 🤣 but there are people who liked it. For me...I couldn't hold it without it hurting my ...

Does he use trifocals in order to make a call? How does he dial the numbers? I think its impossible. the size of my thumb covers four or five keys for me! 😁

Actually, the discount will only apply to the primary line access cost of $110.00

Everything else is correct for when you go to place the order. As much as we all hate the cost, you may want to consider insurance on the Blackberry and the Env2 (both are rather expensive to replace without it).
