RAZR 2 or LG 8350?
I've got a question to anyone who can give me advice on this. I'm usually always sure about what phone I want to get when time to get a new one but I'm having a hard time this time. I get better reception with Alltel where I live so I swiched...BIG MISTAKE, I know. I should have stayed with Verizon. But I'm going to switch back. Since I was with Verizon last they released new phones. Which is better, the Motorola RAZR 2 or the LG VX8350? So far I can tell the only real difference is the camera quality...I want to know which would be the best choice. If you own one of these phones, and you were to do it all over again, would you get the same one second time around or get the other one?

well those phones are really in w different leagues. the 8350 is a solid phone and will do mp3s with stereo BT, 1.3 MP camera, and is get it now capable. the razr2 also does the music, not sure if it has stereo BT, but i would assume it does. the big difference is price and size. the razr2 obviouslt being slimmer but a little bit wider and also costing about $150 more than the 8350. i havent heard bad about the razr, but i havent heard anyone praising it either. personally i'd go with an LG over a Moto any day, but thats just me. I've sold tons of 8350's with no complaints at all, but have yet to sell a single razr 2.
hope that helps

same here motorola battery life is terrible and signal strength is not great...so the LG on the other hand dominates the razr 2 with battery life and signal strength. I sell 8350's like crazy and have only sold 1 razr2 so with a a 50 to 1 ratio of people buying the LG over Razr2....what do u think?

i'm no sales rep, but i'm pretty sure you guys are selling a lot more 8350s (than the razr2) because of the huge price difference. it'd be interesting to see how well the razr2 would sell if it was the same price as the 8350.

Quick answer is neither. Razr2 is a Moto and therefore...you would want to avoid that. They don't exactly play nice with Verizon sometimes. The 8350 is ok but it's midlevel. There are better options available and better options coming depending on how long you want to wait. If you have an older phone you liked, reactivate on that and then when something comes out you like..you're able to purchase at discount (since you never did). Otherwise...I'd say go with the 8350 between the two of em.

Go with the LG 8350 hands down.

I concur...you can always count on moto to have a terrible software issue (like the "message full" error they are having). LG's have always worked for me and the only problem I've had is with my 6100 a few years ago and the "Car Kit" mode. They've improved on that problem...plus the Razr fad is tired

Thanks for the info everybody. I finally switched back to Verizon and I got the LG 8350 and the software is alot faster, Vcast works better, user options are better than the RAZR 2. Given the choice, LG 8350 won!
