Verizon announce Unlimited Plan too early??
Sprint HAS to be reactive because of their failing position in the marketplace right now. Verizon leads the pack, so they can kinda do what they want.
Call me when verizon or att allows you to use your corporate discounts on these plans....
But when I look at industry leaders, I think there is more than just numbers. I think you have to look at the total package offered. And overall I think verizon is a better choice and a better company than att.
But they are really the only two major players in wireless and its pretty much a toss up based on personal opinion.

I think once you indeed LOOK at the total package thats where ATT shines. When you just do what your neighbor does Verizon has the edge.
Verizon is certainly spending a ton more on TV advertising.
I see far more Verizon commercials on Tv then ATT
I see about the same amount of att commericals as i do verizon...dont even try to play that card. They both spend millions, so thats a wash.
And I have looked at the total package. My parents have att and I HATE talking to them because of the sound quality of GSM and we live in the same freakin city. The customer service is not on par with verizon's and their phone selection is overrated.
If they work for you---Great....but I prefer what verizon has to offer and this is through research and personal use of both carriers--NOT playing following the leader with my friends and family
Thats all Verizon has..A Marketing plan. They don't have phones worth a crap. those that are they dumb down. (See V3m and other) They pick your pockets in the guise of protection and ease of use. What a crock.
I'll take less than CD sound quality for the freedom and flexibility ATT and the rest of the GSM carriers offer. Crystal clear....who cares. I can understand what anyone says and I will suffer a few dropped calls now and then rather then have a Carrier dictate HOW I can use a phone I BOUGHT or worse cripple manufacturers features on a phone I BOUGHT. Or decide which GUI I MUST use on a PHONE I BOUGHT.
VEriaon...

and how is verizon picking our pockets? EVERYTHING IS THE SAME FREAKING PRICE! Check the plans, they are identical...so once again, its a wash.
And how can you say that crystal clear calls don't matter. It matters to millions of people. And most people on att dont even know what a SIM card is, let alone how to take it out and put it in a new phone.
As far as the UI goes, i'm not a huge fan of it, buts its gotten a lot better and they have made a ton of improvements. Plus the smartphones are open for all applications.

ATT speaks with their phones....not some goofy...

As far as the sim card goes, you have to realize that most people on this website are phone junkies, so yes, we all know. But there are plenty of people who have no idea who it works and they dont really care. They won't switch phones, they wont travel overseas. Its a feature they will never really use.
I was trying to sell on of my old treo's on craigslist last week and some guy claimed that all verizon phones use SIM cards and that my verizon treo would work on the einstein GSM network. This...

sounding like you are in a tunnel or talking through a tin can is a MAJOR issue for some, including myself. Like I said, I have had the personal experience and the sound quality is a joke and thats more important to me than having an iphone.

I value what verizon has to offer...you value what att has to offer. We will prolly never agree, but I respect your right to choose and you have to respect mine. ATT and verizon both have their downfalls and their upsides...its just boils down to what you value/need in a cell company
Good luck with your "cool" phones, i'll keep my great service and clear calls.

I use because nothing is more lame then repeating a conversation and trying to figure out where it left off before the drop!
Yeah Alzheimer's is a bitch indeed.

You are wasting your time arguing with Joe, he has no points in his arguments and nobody in the at@t forum will talk with him 🙄
No one who got sucked into the iPhad will. Because they played follow the leader as well. $600 for a phone they stood in line for when there were far better phones to buy albeit not branded. But thats the beauty of GSM. Unbranded works just as well.
I understand totally why Apple first went to Verizon with the iFAd. Both companies like to be in tota; control of their user base
