Replacement phone

I am wondering if the refurb phone replacement is just for phones out of warranty. My daughter dropped hers in some water, it will work, just not charge the battery. Any suggestions as to what to do would be helpful. If the only recourse I have is to buy another off Ebay or something, then that's what I'll do.
I know the store offered to do a replacement at the 1 year price with a new signed agreement, which is another option. Thanks in advance to any help 😁

If you have insurance, use that. It'll be a refurbished phone of the same model. It may cost you 50 bucks and it won't extend your contract. Or, you could go the ebay route. I do, and I haven't had any problems.

ebay all the way! Just make sure you buy through paypal. also try and get the esn so you can call verizon and see if the phone is able to be used (sometimes they are reported lost, stolen, etc). Also try and find the phone on phonescoop so that you know it exists for verizon!

Good luck!
