All of this smack talk between VZW and AT&T ... only one thing matters
The Rate of Return. Or known as ARPU (Average Revenue Per User). This should be the biggest (if not the only) factor in determining a company's success. This determines how much they profit from each customer and how well they manage their costs. I mean after all, this is a business, right? It's all about maximizing revenue and reducing costs. Efficiency, right? I mean last time I checked when I took my Economics courses.
So ... who has the better ARPU?
Sprint has the highest ARPU of the major carriers and they are in shambles and getting smoked by VZW and at@t.
these numbers are pulled out my backside so don't qoute them as facts or that i'm claiming any kind of stats that aren't there im just making a point with random numbers.
$65 per user x 10 million users = $650million
$55 per user X 60 million users = $3.3 billion
Now when you decide where you want to invest your money be it an investor seeking to invest in stocks (which doesn't count for VZW as they are privately held) or you are a bank looking to loan out some investment capitol when the carriers come looking for loans to build out their next network, which company are you gonna look at? The one that's bringing in cash like ma...
