So i was actually was employed by vzw and after i left the company i learned alot of how money hungry this company is .. I had 5 lines with vzw when i left.. And my monthly bill was $200 plus every month. I had navigation and select plan.. And my contract was going to end 09.
Well you know I paid etf for all 5 phones totaling to $700 plus. ANd i gladly switch to att. With roll over and much much much better selection on phones..the cost of switching over was nothing.

AH AMPS...part of the vast Veriaon network on paoer..of course ou cannot use any services on it..In fact you have to be in an extendted enhanced network to use some services...but only if you are on a certain plan........Verizon uses 5 FIVE maps for the service capabilities they provide....FIVE different coverages...LOL The they add them all up and claim they have the largest network....

The problem with nokia and cdma started a long time ago. Before all the feature rich phones, nokia made the worst phones on cdma except maybe audiovox. I used to love nokia when I sold tdma and then when I made the switch to verizon nokia sucked. Since then there have only been a few phones here and there and they were all just ok.
Another thing is that back in the day nokia and qualcomm couldn't get along so I think that was the biggest reason they didn't make a whole lot of cdma phones.
