I have an ongoing issue that I've been dealing with for almost 3 weeks now. I can't get a straight answer from any VZW rep. I've called care reps and gone into stores. So many different answers.

Here's the deal:
I got a Moto Q.
I don't want to browse the net.
I do want to send PIX/FLIX messages.
I have the $10 Unlimited IN TXT/PIX pack.
I don't have a monthly data pack.

Here's what I've been told:
1) Without a data pack you will still be charged per KB for PIX/FLIX messages, even with the $10 TXT/PIX pack.
2) As long as you have any TXT/PIX feature you will NOT be charged for KB usage for PIX/FLIX messages, only for web browser and applications. But a web block on and you will never get charged KB usage and you can still sen...

*** correction ***

2) As long as you have any TXT/PIX feature you will NOT be charged for KB usage for PIX/FLIX messages, only for web browser and applications. But with web block on and you will never get charged KB usage and you can still send PIX/FLIX messages.
3) As long as you have any TXT/PIX feature you will NOT be charged for KB usage for PIX/FLIX messages, only for web browser and apps. However, if you block the web you CANT send/receive PIX/FLIX messages.

You get charged if you are in extended network. Otherwise, no there is no Kb charge for pix/flix messaging.

If I have a mobile web block on my Q, why am I still able to access the internet? Also, everytime I try to send a PIX message it says login error.

I will try to call customer service later, but I was wondering if anyone here may know why.

Mobile web isn't what you access on the Q. That's what you would access on a device that isn't a smart phone. I honestly don't know as far as the error message you are recieving with the pix messaging. I would reccomend that you call into tech support to try and get that resolved.

Your phone has a data counter similar to a min timer for calls. The phone will show data usage for sending pix messages but you should not be billed for it as long as you were on the Verizon network and not roaming.

is it possible that it will show KB usage and when the bill generates it will come off? I send LOTS of PIX/FLIX messages everyday.

your phone will show the usage. it will always show the usage. Your bill is not calculated on what your phone shows. It is calculated on what the network records for your phone. As it has been said in several other threads with the same topic, you will NOT be charged the data usage as long as you were not using the extended network

Data usage can sometimes take up to 90 days to show on your bill if you were on extended network.
