Why No Voyager For Me

I was really excited to upgrade to the new Voyager, but after examining the phone, I decided to keep my razr.

1) First thing I noticed when I entered the store was the finger prints all over the phone. Did not like that.

2) The thing is really big, and I always keep my phone in my front pants pocket. It is understandable that the extra size is due to the keyboard, but I don't do a lot of texting, so a regular phone keyboard is sufficient. I can't see myself lugging a phone that big around.

3) I use VZNavigator a lot on my razr. I noticed that the Voyager will only show the VZNavigator with the display in a landscape orientation and not a portrait orientation. I am not aware of a car cradle that would work with a phone that s...

Why does it matter?

Its not for you. Not every phone is for everyone. This phone is geared towards texting. If you dont do it, why do you need it?

If you want the touch screen, go with the venus.

Your right, after seeing the phone in person I realized it is not for me. It was not my intent to bash the phone or to pick the phone apart. I am just trying to share what I discovered because it may help someone with similar needs as mine. It is a really cool phone, but the three reasons I mentioned in my original post are the reason I walked away from a VZ store that had several Voyager's in stock. I am sure that someone that does a lot of texting would love the Voyager. Venus is also a cool phone, but I would like the mobile TV, and the touch screen is not the big of deal to me. I am leaning towards the RIZR Z6TV now.
