Anyone have any word on how much this phone is going to set me back next month?

I have heard everything from the iPhone pricing of somewhere in the $400 range down to $200-250....

The rep I spoke to yesterday told me that it looks like it will be $400 with a $50 rebate. That still seems really high. Does anyone know for sure?

what was she going off of? Where did she hear $400. I just think to compete with the iphone they need to come in with a better price point. and better by atleast a $100

I called my Verizon store and that's what they said. They said they weren't completely sure, but probably no lower than $300. I agree that $250 would be a fair price, and I would pay more anyway, but of course it would be nice to get some kind of deal! When do you think we can expect official price announcements? Especially since there is word that the Voyager might be released a few days early.

I think pricing will be out in late October or maybe early November. I don't really think there is a rush. We all know the ballpark, it's just getting the exact price.

Are these prices for new contracts or retail price?

I think contract would be:
2yr:$250-$300
1yr:$320-$400
Full Retail:$500+

But his is just an educated guess on my part.

If they want this to compete with the iPhone it can't be more then $300. The reason is that the iPhone comes with 8 GB of memory and you woulkd have to buy a 8 gig stick for the voyager to make it equal. That said, Verizon thinks they're network is better (which it is) so I wouldn't be surprised if that $350 number isn't right.
