You all have only two thoughts..."we have the best network and we will have better phones soon". Soon isn't soon enough when every carrier has had great selections and choices for months and Verizon has such limited selections. There is no reson they shouldn't offer more and better phones for their customers.

Who has great selections. Tmobile sucks with phones, alltel does, sprint ahs released very few phones recently and verizon released a few recently also.

And second if you don't like it and its so important go to the carrier you think has the phone for you. What is complaining on a forum going to change?

I am not complaining, I was responding and agreeing with an earlier comment. And not everyone complains about other carriers selections, you are assuming that.

I ported from VZW and couldn't be happier. But you are correct about being the minority.

Remember though that AT&T is getting their $hit together and will put some pressure on VZW down the road.

And in a few months, other forums will have people saying "why does vzw have all the good phones, and (insert carrier name) has nothing. A few months after that you could cut and paste your post about vzw's "limited" selection. It happens over and over again.

No...things are just REALLY that slow at Verizon.

I mean right now they're offering the 6700 & Treo 700. These phones are nearing 3 yrs old.

The dummy i760 & 6800 are in our store now...live phone soon to follow...

Since selection seems to be your problem, what exactly are you looking for? How many more options does ATT give you? And by the way, there are more phone options at VZW than ATT currently. Take a look. If you count the actual phone models (not counting different colors as different models, or slight variations such as a ptt and non ptt version), there are more options at vzw. I counted 41 at vzw at their website, 32 at ATT. But your right, the selection clearly sucks at VZW.

I think the problem is that they all do the same thing. How many of those 41 phones are 1.3 megapixel, VCast, video, music phones? Or 640x480 vga camera, bluetooth, mid-range phones? Verizon has 41 models, and about 5 different phones. I'm ready for some new features to be put into these phones. If the VX10000 (or the X or whatever it's called) has a 1.3 megapixel camera, I'm going postal.

What site are you referring to? Go to CNET and count there or even here. In terms of smart phones and BBs Verizon is clearly lacking no matter how you spin the numbers.

9 Devices vs. 11. I see that ATT has more, but I wouldn't say that there is a clear lack of selection. Perhaps Verizon should add some refurbished models to meet your standards.

One could also point out that 3 of the 11 ATT devices are 3G, as compared to 9 of 9 VZW devices. I am not saying that Verizon is superior in their lineup, but that your argument that you have been attempting to make for sever...

What does the Q vs a newer BB have to do with this. There are 20 devices combined, does your "argument" (which was spelled correctly, but thanks for trying to correct me) depend all boil down to you prefer a newer blackberry than a 1 year old version of a particular phone? Can't I then say that Verizon is superior because the new I760 is so much better than ATT's refurbished BB7130? Following your logic, I can.
