LG 8300's Outside Keys... A Problem?
I'm lookin' at the LG 8300, and I noticed that there's no way to 'lock' the outside music player keys.
To me, that's kind of dumb... seems like they could be activated accidentally lots in your pocket, which would either play music when you're not expecting it (embarrassing, at, say, a funeral, or in a meeting), or, even if you have no music loaded up, it would still turn on the outer screen lots, burning up battery life.
Has this been a significant prob for anyone? Does the new firmware (V04) fix it in anyway? Or is there some way to disable the outside keys that isn't well-known?(I don't like belt-clip cases).

If no music is loaded, nothing will happen. With music on the phone the button has to be held down for a period of time, maybe 3 seconds. The buttons are not sensitive, it takes a bit of a push to get the music going. After the button is held it takes about 12 seconds for the music to start. I've had music loaded for over a year and it's only happened a couple of times. Usually in my pocket with my keys, and I lean up against a counter or something. My only issue is that if the phone is on silent/vibrate the music will still play at full volume with that push.

It has to be held down for a little while to actually pull up the music player. It won't just come on if you bump it. I never had the 8300 but I did have the 8100 and I would say in the year I had the phone it happened to me maybe 2 or 3 times total. From what I remember it always happened if I had something else in my pockets and had my hands in there to.
