I can also verify the Cingular/ATT difference in call clarity and overall quality. I thought my Sync was just horrible in the earpiece and the amount of time it took to connect a call. I upgraded to the KRAZR about 3 months ago and still have the same issues with loudness and clarity and that garbled sound others describe. The 3G network isn't all it's cracked up to be in my opinion either. The Sync ran off 3G and dropped way more calls than my KRAZR that runs of Edge. All that said, it still doesn't even come close to quality of Verizon.

I agree. I think we all have to admit we are a little intrigued by the iPhone. I am. I'm not saying I want one in the least. I wouldn't touch one, at least this early in the game. But what would we all be doing if Verizon had the exclusive to this phone? You bet I would at least try it. It's a brand new design, and an intriguing one at that. If you're like me, you're just waiting for the other manufacturers to follow up now. I'm waiting for an LG version in my case (US bound Prada perhaps?). I will give Apple kudos for shifting the cell phone parameters. However, would I want an iPhone? No. But, like was stated above, at least he was honest. He thought it was cool, he tried it, it sucked, and he admitted it.
