text blocking issue
Whenever I text my brother (also Verizon cust)I get a message saying "You have been blocked from originating messages to this subscriber". Anyone else ever encounter this? It happened in the middle of a texting match so neither of us did anything to bring it on...I don't think. 🙂 Suggestions?

He either has an Audiovox 8900 or 9900. I have an LG vx8600 and vx6100, the 8600 is the "blocked" number. His texts come thru but I can't reply with the 8600, the 6100 has no problem. It's very strange because I thought cell #'s couldn't be blocked.

At the time, I don't believe you can block a call. Blocking a text is set up through VZW's system I know Sprint does this as well. Sprint allows their customers to set up who certain numbers who they don't want text messages from, block sending, recieving,etc. I'm pretty sure VZW is the same too.

Looking back thru your prior posts indicated that you were asking about blocking messages awhile ago...that may have someting to do with it...

I've never blocked him, he doesn't get why this is happening either. For the record, I took the advice from my prior posts but the blocking thing from vtext.com never worked.
