Has Verizon Stopped This?
I have the LG 8300 and for the past year have been able to email mp3's to myself and save them as ring tones. Well no more. I tried sending on more than one occasion and now I just get the text of the email but not the mp3. Is this Verizon plugging a hole to make us fork over our $2.99 for a ring tone and not allowing us to create our own anymore?

It appears so before I was able to use funformobile for years and send my ring tones that way , now it still sends the audio but now the option to set it as a ring tone has disappeared. It really sucks! 👿 👿

Could be a couple of issues going on. First want to make sure you are sending it to phonenumber@vzwpix.com
If so, there might be a network issue. Are you getting any attachment or is the attachment just being droped?

also make sure you save any sound files you want to use as ring tones to the phone not a memory card. copying them from a memory card won't work either. they must be saved directly from the message to the phone. It still works on my V3m. It never worked on my fiance's a950 though.
