Screwed by Verizon re:9900
Well trying to upgrade to the 9900 has turned into a nightmare Verizon style. I ordered the phone on the 14th of Oct. and was told specifically the phone was in stock and I would be notified if there would be any delay in shipment. A week later I called and was told it was not in stock and there was no information available as to when it may be. I have no other phone so now my options are to pay 50.00 A month for NOTHING or suspend the service and lose my only form of telephone communication. After recieving absolutely no assistance from the Customer Service Supervisor I decided to just suspend the service instead of give them an extra penny. I never knew why everyone said verizon had terrible customer service until today. Sorry fr the ...

Thanks for the Info guys... a loaner is really what I need, and what I asked CS for. They offered absolutely 0 help with facilitating that. I will try a store for a loaner but I'm not sure what the terms will be. My only other option is to buy a phone that I don't like as much and return it after 15 days, with the hope that the 9900 wil then be available, which seems unlikely. Oh well no service for now.

Now I dont work for Verizon but if you didnt have a phone and were paying for no service. Wouldnt it just make sense to cancel? You said you didnt want to cut off your phone. But you dont have a phone. Unless did you just mean you were still checking your Voicemail from a landline? Thats one expensive Voicemail service 😲
