just got back from returning the type S for the V. holllla. this phone is so pimped outtt. I wish i had gotten it sooner.

thanks man. i did noticed something about the speed dials... i selected the person and there was some random number instead the one it was supposed to be. i did it a few times and then it was right. was that the bug?

Yeah normally how you would just go to contacts and set speed dials from there, it does the weird random number thing as you described...I could never get it to work from there. But if you go to the contact list then pick a name highlight the number then select options you can assign speed dials and they match up correctly. But you got it so all is good 😁

I don't like cradle chargers. Never understood why people love them so much. It makes it harder to use the phone while it's charging...

Well allot of chargers are a pain in the a$$ some have tiny little flaps that you have to undo and then take care in connecting the charger...srew all that, I like just quickly placing my phone in the cradle, and being done with it.
I don't talk on my phone when its being charged...and if I need to I just grab it from the cradle without any hassle 😎

You don't have to take the cover off on your cradle! Lucky! My i730's cradle is the same as the regular charger (same port) but holds the phone! 👿

I guess that's good. Sorta like my Cobra FRS walkie talkies. Except they don't charge that well, kinda have to jiggle them...

Is the type s REALLY that bad. I have been holding out for 6 months waiting for the type s for the bluetooth...but now I'm thinking I should get a type V before they are gone!

yeah get the V and a wired headset and you'll be g2g....it really is the better phone they dumb downed the type-s something awful!!

Ok...now I am in the V club too! Based on your negative reviews of the type S and on the fact that I was able to get the V for free with my NE2...I went for it. I never had bluetooth...and I sort of wanted it but not at the cost of a bad screen since I text alot and Mobile IM with my kids. So I got the V and ordered an extra headset adapter (one for each car) and I'm good to go. Im very happy so far.
