Razr Maxx Let down
I don't know if anyone else has seen the razr maxx in person, but I have... I must say I am disappointed. The phone feels solid and looks good. The camera is excellent, I love the front display, with the glass front (had to keep cleaning it) But after 5 mins, it has lost its appeal.
I think what really hurt me was when I went into settings, display and themes. I was stuck with the same themes. Couldn't customize it, except for the color... and that hurt. So I have renamed this phone RAZR Standard.
But I still love Verizon, I'm still loyal to the red giant... Still lovin the LG 9400 TV phone...

Your levels of masochism amaze me. It seems that this keeps happening time after time.
Verizon announces a phone/ You guys create all this hype among yourselves/ The phones gets delayed/ The hype and anticipation heats up as rumors this or that (OBEX, UI and the like) The phone sees the day of light/ and yet, another let down.
I wonder whether Verizon phones really suck or you guys hype these phones so much that by the time the phone comes out it just can't meet your expectations...
Imma go by a local Vz store just to see if the phone really sucks or if it's just you guys...

Ahh, no. I got an E815 about a month before they were discontinued. I went through 4 of them in a year. Fixed the problems, my ass. They still had the charger issues, the text issues, etc.
What do you mean? Mine worked perfectly.
The E815 was problematic. I haven't talked to anyone that hasn't at least had rebooting problems.

E815 was the best.
Not in my book. I got that phone shortly after it came out. I had it for a week and I couldn't do anything on it. If I surfed the web it would freeze up and reboot. If someone called me and I answered really quickly, it would get confused or something and it would reboot. The alarm clock would never go off. The usual charging problems. The earpiece sounded muffled. I bought the phone after many rumors in here that it'd have full BT. It didn't, so I stopped playing games with Vz and went somewhere else.

Wrong thinking. Please don't blame Moto. It is Verizon who made those changes.
They have big buying power and disregard the OEM design.
The Bluetooth, User Interface and post Qualification and FCC approval did not originate from Motorola, who wants to make a good phone.
Yes, I still love Verizon too, and feel badly that they still inhflict the nonsense on Moto.

It's not much different than the Env's UI.
