New Phones? Contract up.
I've had the LG VX8100 for 2 years now and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever owned, however, I'm getting extremely bored with it. I borrowed a friends Q and have been using that for a week or so and I have to say it's probably the worst phone I've used in the past 5 or 6 years. I'm switching back to my LG.
My contract is up in May and I want to stick with Verizon but I haven't seen any phone that interest me at all. I'd like a PDA phone, I like Windows Mobile, I like all the customizations that can be made but form factor is a big issue.
Is anybody aware of any new phones that are going to be released that are cutting edge other than the TV phone that is coming out.

I am so tired of Verizon. If my company, friends and wife weren't on the network, I'd be gone. We always wait 6 -8 months longer to get phones that are crippled (Is that why it takes longer?). It is driving me crazy. I see other phones with ATT that I like and am actually considering making a switch. Who cares if it will cost me in my monthly minutes. At least I'll have the hardware that I want with the features that I need.

That makes sense. Just stay away from the V3 RAZR and you'll be fine.

Don't go for a Cingular PDA (trust me, I work for them). They don't allow insurance on PDA/Smartphones.

Have you checked out the LG enV? You apparently really like LG and its quality, so it would be def worth it to make a trip to the VZW store and check it out! I have it and I love it! It isn't a PDA, but you can access Mobile Web and most importantly GET IT NOW!! It has a Qwerty keyboard which is awesome. As for switching to another carrier because of equipment...you want to be able to use the equipment right? You must have a reliable network to do that! Check out the enV...in my opinion it is great and I am a big fan of LG phones too!

if you don't like any of the current pda's verizon has the new xv6800 coming out which a huge improvement on the xv6700. both are awesome window's mobile pda's. if you don't need a pda then get a tv phone, i love mine.
