Congratulations to Verizon
A while back I posted a thread to complain about VZW charging the most and giving the least. Since then, Verizon has launched unlimited text & pics to their customers.
I received much criticism for my post, but as I pointed out, their people READ PS forums, to see what everyone thinks and is saying about their products. While I can't take credit for my posts being the reason for the change, I'm glad to see it happen.
I believe that fair criticism is healthy, as well as fair debate on issues. I think one reason that the four major carriers do offer better products than say, satellite t.v. is in no small part because of THIS forum.
I use Nextel because of my work and communication needs, but enjoy seeing what other carriers are doing...

Where did you hear they were offering an Unlimited package now for texting? I checked their website and found no information on this nor did one of the Verizon operators. Do you have a link?

They aren't offering a Unlimited Text/PIX/FLIX option to all customers...just within the network. They are changing those plans tomorrow...There is going to be a $20 one that might as well be unlimited to all...unlimited to verizon customers and 5000 outside the network...

I agree that they should. Then you would have that "never need to worry" feeling. I know T-Mobile offers an Unlimited package for everything for about $30 a month. I would pay for that peace of mind.

There IS an unlimited text plan for $39.99 bou ONLY has 100 minutes total...
