Hi all...I was wondering if anyone can shed some insight into whether or not it would be a smart move on my part to swith from T-Mobile to Verizon. I have been with T-Mobile since November of 2003 but I am really getting fed up with T-Mobile and their lack of professionalism as a company and their lack of decent handsets. Yes, we all know they offer plans with minutes that no carrier can touch. I currently have 1500 mins for $49.99 with unlimited nights and weekends. I notice Verizon does not offer any $49.99 plans. The closest they have is $59.99 and offers only 900 mins which is 600 mins less. Yes, Verizon has the best coverage nationwide which I am aware. I do use my cell as my primary phone. Does Verizon offer unlimited mobile to mobile ...

Verizon by far has the best coverage of all of the carriers which is why they don't give away minutes as freely as some other carriers.
Verzion does offer IN calling which means free mobile to mobile calling.
You can also get a family plan which allows shared minutes etc.
I think you'll find that a lot of the people you call have Verizon and then those minutes will be free.

Go to http://www.verizonwireless.com

and look at the top of the page for SITE MAP. Click there and then select PHONES.
Also, you have their worry free guarantee which allow you to try their service for up to 15 days. Don't like it, return it for a full refund minus any usage. Just don't chop up the box and send in the rebate forms if you plan to trial it.

I left TMO about 6 months ago for VZN and haven't had any major issues at all.

My cell is my main phone and many people I speak with also use VZN therefore, all my contact with them is free minutes on the IN (mobile to mobile) program. The IN is part of almost all VZN calling plans. So the larger amount of minutes I had with TMO aren't really missed at all.

VZM customer service is pretty good. Most call centers these days it is always hit and miss anyway.

As for signal strength I haven't notice any difference between TMO and VZN. Both gave me pretty solid coverage regardless of my location.

When it comes to phones each carrier seems to go through cycles of new cool phones. There are a few at TMO I really like at the moment an...

if your a t-mobile carrier and all you care about is cool new phones..Then why dont you buy a phone unlocked and use it on the t-mobile network? I comlain alot about cingys phone selection that was untill I buy my phones unlocked and now I have a large selection of phones to choose from. Im currently using the k790a on Cingy's network. Just look into unlocked phones from third party websites if this doesnt work for you ok.

I never said all I careed about were cool new phones, infact that was never even mentioned. I am more concerned with price for service than anything else. I am hesitant about giving up 600 mins a month and paying $10 extra a month. Thats why I am inquiring now. Early signs say its a a good investment but time will tell.
