Anybody else hate this phone? I wonder if there is any protocol for getting it recalled. I have had 14 people come in this week asking for new batteries (5 of them bought the phone within the last 6 months batteries should live longer than that.) Phone either won't charge, won't accept any more picture messages (even when the old ones are deleted) won't turn off, won't turn on, won't be repaired by warranty (I've sent 16 in and 15 of them came back, handset checks ok with no work done on it). What does a lowly agent have to do to get the ball rolling on recalling a horrendous phone.

I agree. I've only been working here for a few months and this is the only phone I've heard the most complaints about.

Well, to clarify, I don't have problems with USCC and this phone, not yet anyway. I just hate that phone, and I'll bet that less than 10% of them live on year from date of purchase.

seriously the phone is a POS. Never had so many complaints and problems with any other phone. The most common is the battery and then the charger. When u plug the charger in the phone just blinks on and off.

Yup, and if you send it to warranty, they say it checks out, all functions normal and send it back to you with nothing fixed. It is not cool.

Honestly U.S. Cellular would be much better off if they dropped kyocera all together.
They make crap phones that end up costing us money in the long run, plus all the bad word of mouth..

i have to agree, Kyocera phones are nothing but headaches. Even the remix, what's the point of having a MP3 player phone w/ a memory slot when you can't even transfer PC to phone.

Amen, and amen! I hope to Heaven that they don't cripple the new Razr and Krzr. But you can still load mp3s through a card reader to the transflash.

see the thing with that is, you get charged for EE. I didn't know this until my friend tried it and I personally didn't think it would use EE. Well he's bill was $300 and 260 from just EE alone. 🤣 So we tested it again and when you connect you have to enter in a # to dial which goes thru the EE... I got a laugh outta that everytime.

I've uploaded tons of stuff onto my card, and never had an EE charge. It doesn't even go to ee to read it. That's weird.

It is a simple fix for that phone it needs to be taken to service tech, which I am. and it needs to be flashed with the a new software. 😁
