How is USCC reception in non-USCC areas?
The only issue I worry about is traveling out of state. I don't do it all that often--less than 20 days per year--so I'm not worried about roaming charges or having more than 50% of calls out of USC markets. I just want to be confident that when I'm driving around Las Vegas, LA, New York, or PA, I'll be able to get service.
Also, assuming I want a phone with just good call quality, reception, and earpiece volumn, and everything else is secondary, what would you recommend? I was thinking the LG 6100, which is what I have with Verizon. I know USC has a limit...

i don't know about the razr, but the moto 815 is evdo so I would highly doubt that.
Its cool that the razor is going to be cdma as well. Whats so cool about the razor the CDMA Motorola V710 has Video/MP3/Bluetooth and it wont break in half cause its not razor thin.

As to a phone, I recommend the Kyocera KX-1 (also known as the Soho). I've had mine for almost a year, and it's performed flawlessly. Speakerphone, 200 contact phone book, great sound quality incoming and those I call do not realize I am on a cellphone.
It tends to get short shrift on these boards, where there are a lot of LG and Moto fans, but it's a workhorse phone and I highly recommend it.
It's pretty refreshing not to see all of that. I know theres some dissatisfaction with the wait for new phones--but even Verizon and Cingular have that complaint. With the big selection Verizon have, there's really only a few really good ones. All you need are some good phones to go along with the great call and customer service.
