Hello all-

I use phonescoop.com to learn about new phones and get information about competitors phones to help in the selling process. I am disappointed to see how many posts there are from what appear to be USCC employees and agents revealing confidential company information about new promotions and phone release dates.

This information is not given to the public or to be shared for two reasons.

#1: It changes... the Nokia 6255i is a perfect example of that. Customers coming in to our locations expecting to see the phone at the end of April as a lot of members alluded to were disappointed in us and felt misled.

#2: Competition... when we post information like the new easyedge(tm) promo on sites like this, we give our compe...

I am siked about the new plans tha USCC is coming out with.....

New national plan, $35 a month, you get 600 anytime minutes, unlimited in calling, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited night and weekend minutes, unlimited text messaging, and unlimited calls to your home phone number. And all for no additional charges. one price of $35 a month. And to put the icing on the cake, they are taking away the 50% rule, so customers can have the freedom to use their phones freely, which is the name of the new plan, the freedom choice...

I completely agree with JackJack. How loyal can you be to company when you are out giving away all of their business plans... I think in fact that it might be against the law, and it's definetely unethical. Proprietary information should stay as such until the company, namely the CEO, decides the information should be released. As far as the rest of you who guffawed at Mr. Rooney (who we don't even know if JackJack is him) for posting on this site, I say, shame on you. Mr. Rooney is a very passionate man who loves his company and doesn't want to see it suffer because of employees who are disrespectful and let their mouths run too much.

JackJack, I would like to agree on this with you. I am hoping everyone realizes the the whys behind why we do not give release dates, but in any case I will let you know on specifically the equipment issue. Perhaps some are unaware of the testing uscc puts into any equip we are looking to buy, but a release date can be set back months or never happen due to issues with the equipment. we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction, so what satisfaction would it be to give a customer a phone that does not work to our specifications?

as far as features and calling plans...these do change and minor things can change within the plans. However, if we release info on features or plans going to roll out and for some unforeseen issue occurs we wo...
