Free Easyedge for 1st month NOT Free?!?

When we got our phones we were told that we had Easyedge free for the first month. We were told and understood that this did not cover any applications that we downloaded.
My niece who shares my plan dowloaded one RealTone for $2.99. However our bills shows that she owes $79.31 for Easyedge for the first month!!
Were we given wrong information? Is Easyedge not free the first month??? We knew we'd have to pay for the applications but were told that using Easyedge was free for the first month!
My first bill and I am already po'd. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come! âšī¸

We actually give one month free of either the 2MB or 10MB plan. So if the usage exceeded over this you would be billed for over usage @ .01/kb. In some cases I have seen that customer's have been put on a pay as you go pp which is billed @ .01/KB.. if this is the case a credit can be issued.

ok..i reread your letter and realized you knew about the applications and their cost...it does sound like to me that you were put on a pay as you go plan by mistake..(although i thought no one did that anymore) i thats the case it IS correctable.. đ
