O.K. As far as I know USCC DOES have a home calling area. If however, you call outside of your calling area USCC "Roams on the towers of other companys without charging you (dependant upon your calling plan...national, local ect..). This may include you roaming or callling on a verizon, T-Mobil, or Cingular tower, without having to care which provider is charging you for their bandwidth. So, if you have USCC, and have the nationwide plan, it does not matter where you are, your going to connect with a strong local provider non the less. Correct me if I'm wrong. Therefor USCC provides you with the best signal (depending on the phone analog & digital and such).

I can tell you one thing... USCC has the largest local calling area. USCC concentrates in there markets to providing the best signal and the best customer service. Ofcourse, like any other carrier, there is always small areas were you don't received the best reception. But here is the thing... USCC has roaming agreements w/ the other carriers that will allow you use their towers and as long as you are in the local calling area, you don't pay for those roaming charges.

Ooops! Sorry, I didn't finish and accidentally hit "Submit."

Any ways... as I was saying...

Not like USCC, other carriers are National and don't concentrate in a certain areas causing to have many gaps. Unless they also have agreements with other carriers, you're out of luck if you're outside their network. That's why I personally prefer a local carrier that can give me better reception in my area. For those of you who travel, take advantage of the $35 National plan before it is discontinued.

Like I said, even USCC needs improvements in a couple of small areas and they are working on that (hopefully).

But based on the CBS report... USCC had the best reception in the chicagoland area.

Don't know where you are located, so this answer may not apply to you as much as it applies to me.

I am located in New Hampshire. I can buy a Regional Plan from US Cellular that gives me more minutes than Verizon's plans of the same monthly cost, as long as I am located in any of 9 states in the northeast. I never travel outside those states, so "nationwide" plans mean nothing to me.

US Cellular's service in NH is better than Verizon's. They have their own towers in 85% of the state, and where they do not have their own towers, they roam (free with the Regional Plan) on Verizon, Sprint, whoever. So I have the best of both worlds -- US Cellular service, which is superior in NH, and Verizon or Sprint 0utside NH. And it's cheaper tha...

I must say that is one of the most idiotic posts I have read, and I have read many posts on this website ranging from the idiotic bluetooth suit on verizon to stupid arguments about false advertising based on service. But this takes it. To actually go on another carriers forum and post something like that takes a lot of ignorance, which a lot of verizon wireless employees seem to have(at least in my location and obviously yourself maverick). Enough about my rant though and I'll get to why people would choose uscc.

1. The reply from the NH guy that doesn't travel throughout the country. Not all people travel that much, in fact 95% of all minutes used are within 50 miles of someones house. Now I understand that people don't want to p...

You can troll and bash all you want. Like the previous post, USCC rocks in Chicago. I was a Verizon customer for over seven years and I still love Verizon. But I get service which is equal or better than Verizon in Chicago and I pay much less.

1500 minute National Plan with no roaming for $45. I avoided USCC because it lacked a national plan at a reasonable price. Now it has it. Nothing wrong with Verizon but its plans c...

I think it will spread but with fewer minutes but include Mobile-to-Mobile or something else to makeup for the fewer minutes. An example would be a 1200 or 1300 minute plan with M2M.

Just my guess. I have no affiliation with USCC and do not know anyone with the company.

You posted this same rant in many forums, just replacing the name of the carrier.

Please stop trolling and flamebaiting, or your account will be suspended.

Thank you.

Maverick,
You are not doing Verizon any favors by posting these things. You are making them look like a bunch of fools with no courtesy. I happen to know this is not the case.
Rich warned you in the T-Mobile forum.

Not likely. USCC is doing better than they have in a long time. USCC does not have the same issues that ATTW had. Can't compare the two.

I have made it a point to not post for several reasons for awhile now. But now i feel the need to do this company justice. This is the most fundamentally sound compnay out there, and takes care of their customers so well there is no comparison. There shall be a big acquistion in the future for them to prove this on a large scale.. Even though they have already done so in Chicago, ranked #1 there(no small feat) There is no doubt in my mind--if you are in the WI,IA,IL,NE area you have but one choice if you want to be taken care of and that is USCC. I have never dealt with such a quality group of people with such a sound phiosophy in my life, and I have been dealing with wireless companies for 20+ years as a top exec. One who bashes this co...

I live in Chicago if it wasnt for traveling a lot I would have U.S. cell but since I do travel alot I have Verizon. U.S. cell is reliable thanks to the cdma 1x but they are not able to keep up with the technology like Verizon. U.S. cell will slowly fade away!

Weren't you talking bad about USCC.....?

I see... 😁

Or is it that your upset 😢 that you're locked into a contract with Verizon that you can't change to the USCC National plan.

Do you get service anywhere in the country with Verizon? I heard that if you're outside their network you're out of luck. USCC will give you coverage anywhere in the country.

Remember that USCC is still offering the National plan for a few more days. That can really work for you. If I was you, I'll pay the ETF because with the USCC's National plan you'll probably be saving more in the l...

Thank you cellphoneceo! It is much appreciated to hear these types of comments. I do work for uscc and it is an incredible company to work for. And no maverick I'm not only saying this cuz I work here, I had us cell since I was 16 w/a co signer cuz I was young. It's always good when people can sit down and look at the whole picture and make educated decisions.
