It can be done via EasyEdge, correct. There is an unadvertised plan that you can call in and request, unlimited data for about $30. The details will depend on your phone, cable, and software... People report success using it via Bluetooth on moto 710, effective data speeds about 50-60 down and up to 10kbps up. Not much, but within spec and still faster than regular dial-up, at least on the download.
