USCC Next to be bought?
So now that Alltel is acquired by VZW, what do you think are the chances that uscellular is going to get acquired?
I do not think its a terrible thing that Alltel has been acquired, this means VZW will have to sell off some of its spectrum in markets that already have VZW, hopefully USCC can pick up some new markets, I would say more of indiana, minnesota and possibly michigan would be a good acquisition.
Your thoughts?

Very UNLIKELY! USCC strives on giving that mom and pop store feeling.....With that said they have to many values to sell out to another carrier

They will so be bought next.... It's just a matter of time. It's a publicly traded company, anyone with enough money can buy them. They would have to buy back all the shares to become immune to a buy out. It cracks me up how big you guys act... Here's some advice... Think Big Act Small.

Well nothing is impossibal, but that being said if uscc was bought it would not be in the near fucher. Simply becuase whos has the money to buy us right now. VZW will be spent for a wile with the altell buy up, sprint is in huring and owes money to VZW, and at@t has gsm, for the moment any way. besides i see AT@t going after T mobile first. So i think we are safe for now.

Wrong. TDS owns roughly 82% of USCC's stock. So unless someone can convince the Carlson's to sell, which they have shown no interest in doing, it won't happen anytime soon.
