i badgered USCC and got an answer!
So the other day I called USCC and i badgered at some representative and gave them a lot of crap that I have been dealing with with them. I told them (which is all true) that I called one time to tell them that their phone selection sucked and could i buy a phone from verizon and use with their network? I got THREE different answer. One was that sure, but it might not work with the network. Two was NO. and Three was: certain codes have to match, but yes i could. So then i asked if the glimmer that Alltel has is going to come out soon and they said yes, in about two weeks. I was relieved to hear an answer! so from a USCC representative, the GLIMMER (also known as the LG ax830) is coming out in about two weeks!

talking with a representative now, and he said that the glimmer is being shipped by june 5, and will be sold on june 12

Actually shipment begins June 5th and every store should have them by the 12th but we can start selling them as soon as we recieve them. The Q9c is coming out within the next couple of weeks also

So USCC is getting the Q9c? Do you know exactly when? Cause I really want one. I love my OG Q, lol. But I really wanted a phone with WiFi capabilities, even if it means using a SDIO card, and WM 6. Also how awesome is that you can use, up to, a 32gb miniSD card. That's like 60 or so movies. Thats just cool. I just really excited that USCC is starting to get newer, better phone more quickly. I'm really into new technology and USCC has been lacking in that department. I also notice you're in NC, me too.
BTW...Sorry to butt in on your thread. I just really want to know about the Q9c.

They started shipping yesterday (06/02) but the commercial launch isnt until June 10th. We recieved both colors of the dummy phones here last week
