Ok. So I RAN!!! From sprint because I was sick of their B S......

So Until I could figure out what I wanted to do I ported my number and got Go Phone Pick Your Plan with AT&T.....

I love the at&t service, BUT they want to big of a deposit.

My mom has US CELLULAR and she was going to cancel it, because she is out of contract and has verizon now with her bf.

She would keep HER contract with Us Cellular and just let me pick a phone. BUT what I want to do, it transfer my number from at&t to her account because I have SOOOOOO much associated with the phone number.

Since it's prepaid, I still have an account number, and my name is on it...but I think I could change that to her's if nessessary...

Someone please shed light on this...

Ok Calm down it will be ok.....

First YES you can.

What you do is go into a store with your mom and tell them to port in your number as a new individual plan with a new contract and new phone. You will then tell them you want to cancel the other line that is not under contract. This will result in one line (your number) under your mom's name and credit. Dont forget to have them place you on the Authorized User list. You will be able to get a new phone at the contract discount price.

Hope that helps!!

Have you thought about just running credit with USC? Just because AT&T had a large deposit doesn't mean we will.

That sounds outrageous. They are telling you that you have bad credit or no credit. You should have your mom open an account and add a line!!!

Sorry, I misread your post. You should tell your mom and BF to cancel VZW and go with uscc. Then, you could transfer your # under the "new" account.

well, that is to bad, as verizon only charges $400 max for a deposit. you get it back after you make 12 consectuive payments on time.

USCC must have gotten stricter on deposits. I know someone that filed bankrupcy and USCC wanted $0 for a deposit.

check out USCC's prepaid plans. you still get the free incoming calls, N&W minutes dont you.

USCC can have the customers that need to make a high deposit. That will keep the collections department busy.
