For the Motorola V710 that USCC offers, is the Bluetouth crippled in it like it is for the one that Verizon offers? Thanks.

but that is a pointless lawsuit. trust me, i dislike verizon as much as most, but that lawsuit will be dismissed in no time. The 710 for uscc is some what crippled, in that it does not allow transfer of mp3s to be played as ringtones. This is a matter of opinion. The entire CA thing is a joke, it would only happen in CA

Not correct. Bluetooth is not fully enabled on the USCC V710. There is no OBEX profile. That has been disabled. I was told by my USCC rep that the BT was totally open and not crippled in anyway. But the USCC phone is nearly as crippled as the Verizon V710. IT IS CRIPPLED!

This phone is great. The Reason why you can only use a bluetooth headset and with a hands free car kit is because they dont want you stealing the Easy Edge Apps. Copywright laws have alot to do with it. I think in the next year once a phone comes out that allows blue tooth file tranfer it will have a ripple effect and everyone will pirate files on there phone just like the internet. Got to love technology. Ha
