I really love USCC service in Morgantown WV but need a PDA phone. And not the boat anchor Kyocera they carry. Why can't USCC get theTreo 650? Seems to be a reputable phone. Help all you USCC employees. Give me some models you guys are looking at and testing or I guess I will be sprinting to SPRINT
Thanks

The best I can tell you is USCC "may" get a phone such as the Audiovox 6100 sometime around August. Otherwise the rumor mill has been silent since the release of the V710.

Actually the testing of blackberry devices are happening right now, if all goes well, we will be looking at introducing them around the 2nd or 3rd quarter....we shall see. However, you and I both know that you have no real intentions of going to sprint, that would make no sense.

Ok thanks Amd why would I not go to Sprint?

It looks like SPrint will dominate the market soon with Nextel .
So give me some reasons to stay with USCC other than just mear dedication since I have been with them 18 months or so.

Spint and Nextel will be far from dominating the market. They are far from being anything special. At least 3-4 years. And even when the merger is completely done, they're still not going to dominate the market.

They'll dominate with PTT, but as for the CDMA market, Verizon has that and they'd have a hell of a catching up to do, not that they ever will, but if they were going to, it wouldn't happen for another several years.

Well, like someone already mentioned we are supposed to be getting in at least 1 decent one around the 2nd quarter of this year... I've heard Audiovox but nothing definite yet. I sure hope we get a decent one, the 7135 is ginormous!

In case you did'nt know, Sprint uses Ntelos' network in WV and Western VA. So if Ntelos coverage is poor in your area so will be Sprint's.

Since Sprint calls are routed to their own data network they can offer many, many more features than Ntelos.

I am only a USC customer, but I say stick with them. your are getting the most bang for your buck.
