Don't know if you can phone to phone unlocked MP3 files but I do know that you can do that with your contact list and user created images.

Both the LG 565 and the 260 are suppose to be unlocked for file transfer. Least thats what the LG rep told me.

I just transferred an mp3 file from my phone to an LG 260. So Yes! It does work on both of the new LG phones. The Kyocera E1000 will transfer files as well with bluetooth.
