Moto 1 day and it does not work

Just got my Q yesterday and it does not work this morning. Says Motorola Downloader, plug in USB, and that's all it will do. ?????????

Hi there-

Nothing worse than getting something new and getting home and it doesn't work! I've been there before...

It sounds like it might need to have the software reloaded, but probably is defective. You've probably contacted your rep by now, but I would return it.

FYI...I got my Q at the beginning of the week and it is working great. No problems. So, taking it back and probably getting a replacement should solve the problem.

I've also been unable to sync my Q with my PC even after upgrading to version 4.5. Any other thoughts before I consult with my sales rep? Otherwise the phone works great.

Did you download the active sync cd, provided in the box?
