We get the Q, they get the Q9m

Thou I have been here for years, it still amazes me how far behind the 8-ball USCC is in phone releases. And…let not jump on the “phones are tested longer” bull crap. We all know this is not true.

USCC would gain a much better market share, and win back many customers if they just jump in once in a while and get a new cool phone before someone else did, or at the very least, the same time.

Well the Q9m is just a re-packaged version of the Q, except it runs Windows Mobile 6.0 instead of 5.0.

First of all friend the "bull crap" is true, USC does test phones longer than other carriers. The reason USC never launches a phone first is because they are a regional carrier, it costs money to have exclusive rights on a phone and they would rather put the money back into the network. Also if you recall we launched the RAZR the same day as VZW.

Not to mention that if you compare the two, the one USC is getting is lighter and smaller. The press release on the Q9m stated that it had upgrades and downgrades...so its six on half a dozen the other.

Keep in mind, for those who are not aware of the behind-the-scenes to enable BlackBerry Messaging, there is an over-and-above licensing fee to provide integration within a messaging solution, which is beyond that of a cellular carrier or those who provide wireless Internet access at the business level. Note: a Cellular Carrier is not considered a Business level W...

I agree. It's good to hear that you understand although you missed the message. We are a promoter of USCC. A Great Company. Awesome Services and tremendous pricing. So much, at the request of our USCC Rep., we as a corporation have held back any Mobile Messaging Solutions awaiting USCC's entry into the Microsoft friendly messaging market.

Our concern is only with the choice of a Smartphone version. A deal breaker for our organization. We are not sure everyone else understands the importance of this especially when the feature promoted, with the highest percentage, is the telephone. Therefore little attention to the integration towards business networks.

Are we going to move away from USCC, I certainly hope not. They are grea...
