No Warranty for Battery
Here's the difference between a Legacy Carrier like Verizon and a regional one like USCC. According to my local USCC repair center the standard issue battery on my Razr v3c isn't holding charge due to overuse. 1500 min per month within my plan. The phone and battery are only 10 months old. One USCC customer service rep stated that as long as the repair center could verify the battery problem the battery would be replaced under warranty. The repair tech suggested I call back the Customer Service dept. and request battery replacement under warranty. Different customer service rep transferred me to customer relations. The customer relations rep. stated that there exists NO WARRANTY COVERAGE for batteries. However they would send one to me for $...

USCC does not warrant the batteries, that is up to motorola... 80% of the time if you call and complain to the manufacturer they will send you a new battery!

I'm sorry you appear to be having this issue. I am not exactly sure why it would occur, however, because as a RWC at a retail location and I couldn't tell you the number of batteries that we warranty every day. If its under 12 months of age, and no liquid damaged you will get it swapped that day, or ordered if not in stock.

Only in retail though. Agents can't offer that. Also, that's it excatly, the MANUFACTURER covers the battery/warranty issues cus it is a MANUFACTURER WARRANTY.

Agents can't offer that? OF COURSE THEY CAN! I run 6 agent stores and if anyone has an issue with a battery and it truly is the battery and not a phone or charger issue then we hand them a new battery!
Pretty simple. We then send the pile of batteries we get from ALL manufacturers back to them and they send us new ones. That is how we take care of our customers. We do the work for them whenever possible.

The USCC repair center thats about 5 miles from my agency will replace any oem battery the came with the phone originally as long as it tests below 80% of the normal capacity and its not physically damaged.
Now someone I've known for a very long time purchased a Motorola V323i from Verizon about 4 months ago and the battery was shot. Verizon told him Motorola does not warranty Verizon products and charged him $30 for a replacement battery.
I think its all about who you are dealing with and IF that person gets reimbursed for the battery replacement. Any repair center that is officially authorized by a manufacturer will get reimbursed a set amount for specific repairs/parts.

The store should issue you a battery. There is also no excuse for the call center people telling you it is not covered. If you are under 12months, they owe you a free battery. Personally I would be speaking with a manager about your problems.
