Motorola 323i, Razr, LG 355 all are good phones with the motorolas having better reception. LG's are always good for durability.

LG is the most user-friendly handset but it compares well with Motorola.

Looking at the current USCC lineup I would recommend the Motorola 323I or the RAZR series. (RAZRs will be a BOGO in early April)

Razr do have one major week point, the hinge for the flip. Granted it is made of titanium which is very durable, the hinge where it connects to the main keypad section isn't very thick.

The Motorola V323i would be far more durable and right now would be the most cost effective for features and price compared to almost all other US Cellular phones.

Thanks for the help, one final question, how dose the Nokia 6165i compare to the LG UX-355, and the MOTO V323i as these are the phones i am still looking at? oh and if you feel like it other recommendations are fine.

I think the 6165i is a nice phone, but at the same price for the Razr, its too much money for what you get.

The V323i has mostly the same features as the 6165i but is $80 cheaper. Plus the V323i has better voice dialing, although Nokia is well known for its excellent reception.

For the LG UX355, I'm not that impressed with it. It has a nice 1.3MP camera, and other then that the same features as the V323i. Once again, the V323i is cheaper by $60.

I am not a sales rep. but people come to me when they get new phones or plans because i know what they need and what they are looking for. You are looking for durability and ease of use. The MOTO v323i is a Pretty good. but you get more for your buck if you go with the 6265i or the Krzr or the 335. If you are thinking the Razr i would just bump up to the krzr. The krzr is a tough phone. Reception the same as razr but it's way slimmer. optional mp3 player (It's like an ipod). And its easy to use. the 6265i has a huge screen though and is easy to read and use. It gets good reception as well. I've used the 355. it's OK but I'm not to happy with it. and the krzr is the razr except slimmer and better and will last longer than the razr.
