Victim Of Scam, Need Assistance Please

Hello,

I am a victim of a scam involving Western Union. Unbeknown to me, Western Union doesn't require any ID of any kind if you know the money transfer number. The scammer had me wire the money to myself via Western Union and then send him a coy of th transaction number to verify that I indeed had the funds available to make the purchase. Since I transfered the funds to my OWN NAME I did n't think there was any problem.

The scammer has a MetroPCS number and I'm trying to get the name and/or address for the police to investigate. This was their idea as they would require a warrant to get this information if I couldn't provide it for them. Luckily, the phone number and the funds were both picked up in my state.

hmm are you a scammer. The police can get that info if it is related to a crime they are investigating. Are you wanting to get someone in trouble for violating the law by giving out personal info. Any way I don't believe you.

by the way western union does in fact require ID regardless of what info you have. they have to input it on the form.
