It is not compatible with nextel users. Is only avaliable for metro pcs users, which is not really a great feature since is a new service and depends on who has it activated on this k312p phone. By no chance this will bring more customers to metro.

numberone16 * thats is not true . the chatlink feature will work with any phone and carrier including a landline .When you call someone using a metropcs phones chatlink feature to a phone that doesnt have it , a recording will tell the person being called to press the # key to respond back to the person using the chatlink PTT feature. Now you wont be able to direct connect right to a nextel phone you would enter the phone# and they would have to use the # key to chirp you back instead of the PTT button on there phones.
I hope this clears up any confusion.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask .

Is the chatlink feature $5 for plans $40 and up, or is it included in these plans if you have that phone?
