...
not sure what the v3a sounds like just another razor and the w385 looks just like a razor except with believe it or not crappier stuff- vga camera no bluetooth, cant find just a r400 found an r407 and it just another entry level phone no camera just a clam shell based plain phone nothing wrong with any of these phones but the best phone metro has had still to this day is the nokia 6285i I would like for them to offer something above average soon they havent added any phones other than krzr in along time and if this is the best they can muster thats sad
...
Actually the best phone that metro has ever offered is the slider. It had had the the battery life and signal to be just a plain phone and it included alot of other toys for people who wanted a great camera,mp3 player, video, radio, and so forth. The 2865i was the best non camera phone metro has but not the best phone they ever had.
...
that is the phone I said was the best the 6265i if there was another slider that I am unaware then let me know I currently carry the 6265i I would love for them to add another high end phone but it doesnt look like they plan on doing anything

The new Samsungs are actually pretty nice. And of course the reason metroPCS focuses on lower end phones is because... that's what sells.
We're talking about a low cost provider here - as someone who once worked for metro and now sells their products (and others).... KRZR's just don't sell. and the V3a --> RAZR style and features (for the most part) but $60 cheaper... what a deal for metro customers who want a RAZR.
Furthermore it's about the way metro pays the dealers... they make almost an identical amount of money no matter which phone they sell --> thus dealer's also prefer lower end phones which are easier to move.
metro does have some great phones, and for people who are big talkers there is no better deal. for so...

Actually the best deal in prepaid is PagePlus Cellular- $80 for 1400 mins (5.7c a min). All airtime purchases ($10/83min, $25/300min, $50/700min, $80/1400min) are good for 120 days, and any unused minutes will rollover for another 120 days if you purchase any card. They operate off of verizon's network (but use the inPulse network) so theres pretty good coverage. SO that $100 you spend could be 1300 minutes with pageplus (2 $25 cards and one $50) that span one year- or $75 for 900mins.
And your a phonedealer... i think i need your job.
