FINALLY!
so i called sprint to find out why i no longer had access to call tones when i upgraded to my HTC Touch. they tried to tell me that it was a compatibility issue, which i said was nonsense...after two calls, i decided to send emails...back and forth and back and forth, up the chain the emails went. i finally got to the point where i was just going on and on about how ****ty it is that they chose not to allow access to call tones and that it was and could not be a compatibility issue...
well i get on sprint today and voila! now they have call tone access! i like to think it was just me bitching but im sure i wasnt the only one....
its so trivial but it definately makes a difference to me. ๐

I have looked everywhere for this and have found nothing but the fact that this device does not support this service. Any insight to where you are getting these would be greatly appreciated.

well, i got on the sprint website and bam, they were there...i even changed my call tone and everything. i go back the next day and its gone again. i contact sprint and tell them of this and they basically denied that it could have happened. go figure....im getting tired of that bullshit.....

What do Call Tones have to do with the phone anyways? I have never understood why Windows Smart Phones couldn't get Call Tones. It should all be based on your phone number.

exactly, thats my argument as well.
they are saying that the phones arent compatible and i say thats bullshit..ive been going round and round with them, i should post the emails and let you see what kind of bullshit ive been dealing with.

I used to work for them. I know exactly what you are talking about. Maybe it will be explained some day. ๐

well yeah, the Windows phones cant do Call tones because they dont have a Content Manager. No offense, but no matter HOW MANY e-mails you send, no company is going to change the entire phone lines software to get an update such as Calltones. The phone was designed as a Business phone (MicroSoft Excel, PowerPoint Word, Adobe Acrobat, Wifi) and i would imagine they figured no Business would need a feature such s Calltones. BUT, theres some help. Goto PPCgeeks.com, and search Calltones. you'll find an app that puts Callltones on your Touch or Mogul ๐

Can you link to this post with the .cab dl please ... ppcgeeks.com search function is not really one to be desired as you have to weed and weed. ๐คจ
