Oh, and there will also be a side sliding QWERTY device from LG.
...
😳
Where did you get all this?
...
C'mon... share the love!
...
Do you know if the 6800 will use Windows Mobile 6.0?
...
Unless anything changes before launch it will have Windows Mobile Smartphone edition...
...
Should, u can update the 6700 os to 6.0, i dont see why the 6800 doesnt come already loaded with it
...
Hey, I'm just going with the info on it currently. 😉
...
you cannot at this point update 6700 to Windows Mobile 6.0, you can however update the Kernel to AKU 3.3 which is still Windows Mobile 5.0, but that is a hack
...
yea thats wrong.... it will not be smartphone, a snowball has a better chance in hell than smartphone edition being on a full touchscreen pda like the titan
...
JM- can you quote the source??? b/c this list looks like a common internet scam, post some well known things and add in some BS. This doesn't look very credible. These 2 I have a very very very very hard time believing...
Sanyo Katana II June - yea not likely, I don't expect to see anything new from Sanyo
Sanyo 7050 - Indeed TRUE mil spec. No camera but EV-DO. --- hmmm an EVDO phone with no camera???? not likely, what other EVDO phone doesn't have a camera????? thats right none....

that why I said I hate to call it. It seemed questionable.
I am shocked by the announcement of the 7050!, who needs power vision with no camera
...
They are targeting heavy usage business customer's that need EV-DO for apps and email but may work in an industry where camera phones are not always allowed.
And next time, rather than call BS on my post, PM me and I will provide all the detail you want as far as sources.

true true, just helping to justify a future *jumpshot
...
🤣 K. I'll take that. 😉
...
yall sound like a bunch of fairy's are you all done kissin n making up?
...
😳 Hey buddy, stfu! Ummm, your name sounds like a girl's name... so there. 😛
...
I use a lot of data but never use the camera. This would be a very good phone and one that may tempt those still on nextel. The durability of the CDMA phones is something that nextel users bring up often.
...
Yeah, it felt real sturdy too! Something you might use as a hammer if necessary. 🤣 But it was actually not a bad size and weight.
...
hate to post a jumpshot on such a weak item
but... 7050 will not be EVDO, There will be no Katana 2
Sanyo Updating Entry Level Model For Sprint
Yesterday, 4:28 PM source: FCC
The FCC today approved a Sanyo SCP 7050, an obvious successor to the 7000 - an entry level ReadyLink handset. The 7050 appears to have traded out analog for the addition of Bluetooth. The phone also features a large graphic calling out its GPS navigation rather than the speakerphone. Although further details are not known, if the 7050 follows in its predecessor's footsteps, it will feature ReadyLink Push To Talk, a monochrome external display, color internal display, speakerphone and 1xRTT data.
everything else great 411
...
Thats odd. The beta model I played with definely had EVDO. Guess they changed their mind. Oh well.
...
The reason I heard the Treo 700p or wx doesn't come without camera, is because Sprint will not allow any non-camera EVDO devices, thats why it drew suspicious in my mind. Sanyo might have the EVDO chip on there and just have it disabled. who knows
...
In the discuss part of the 7050 story on the home page there are a few others that agree with me that it will in fact have EVDO. I guess we will just have to wait and see... 😕
...
Dispite it not being an EVDO device the 7050 is a Military Spec Compilant phone... The only Sprint Device in fact that can claim that... it may be a relativly lack luster phone but thats probably because it is ment to be positioned for blue collar types that are used to having a nextel or straight up walkie talkie they can manhandle and not completely destroy. I know ive had a few customers asking for ruggedized devices by Sprint and believe that the 7050 will be a good thing.
PS its also pretty sexy looking... I was playing with it the other day (playing with phones that havent been released yet just one perk of working for a cellphone company). Much to be expected it runs great I love sanyo... 2400 fo life... except now i use the Q... b...

I do not have any source for the Katana 2 launch, that is just industry speculation. Remember, I did say that all launch dates are estimates.
...
will the new fusic look any different? I just got my fusic in January.
...
It is thinner, black and no antenna.
...
How about a Clamshell phone with with Windows Mobile like Cingular and now Verizon ?
...
Hmmm. Sorry. Have not heard of one of those coming down the pike.
