Remember, the first one to have new technology is rarely the first one to make it work properly. Remember the Razr?, Rokr, PTT on anybody besides IDEN? There are probably more, but remember all those first camera phones that were at best, shaky at taking pics? Remember that Apple hasn't done this before, and Cingy isn't shy about making spectaular mistakes at the customer's expense. Other than that, it looks really, really cool!

i think apple would do a much better job on a first launch of a product they never did, as opposed to motorola, if motorola made cars, i would never drive a day in my life.

cingular one of the best in the world? lmao thats funny man what about duestch telecom or vodaphone cingular has nothing on any europeon or asian company they in fact suck in america as well. i know many people that have left singular for other companys not just sprint. and where would cingular be without sprint's nationwide fiberoptic network?

I don't think that the other carriers need to do anything. Consumers will get all starry eyed over the phone, look at the price tag (with contract), and throw up. As someone else pointed out, there was a lot of fanfare for other phones, like the RAZR and the ROKR and it all ended up being much-ado-about nothing. The original items were extremely expensive, buggy and eventually everyone else got the same handset, the price dropped, and now the market is saturated with them.

i'l tell you what we are gonna do. we are gonna do the same that we did then whe razr the rokr the slvr came out, the same thing we did when the sidekick became popular. the chocalte as well. the sam,e thig we did when alltel came out with there circle, the same thing we did when t mobile started the 5 faves. and that is NOTHING. why do we care. i can get a top of the line sprint phone and a 30 gb ipod for less than the price of an Iphone

the fusic a crappy phone? pc magazine award winner for most innovative cell phone is a crappy cell phone. besides the average life span of an ipod is about a year and a half so it is just an overpriced piece of crap. ( i used to sell them i know) so good luck with that phone

besides that gsm is crap and i wouldnt switch to them if sprint turned me off many other good carriers arounf to joined overhyped cingular. just like apple over hyped overpriced.

all i gotta say is i hope they offer the applecare protection plan on that phone cuz it is an apple device so the chance of it dying after a year are very high. and cingular is so cool cuz they have it it must be the best, just like how they were the first to have the razr and its junk. and the rokr where that at oh yeah dropped. haha funny stuff
