noone has blanket coverage, if there is a hole in coverage it goes to the next best provider.

The customer doesn't care, I love the option to force roam, rather than have no option to do so.

T-Mobile cannot touch this option. You pretty much only roam with Cingular and your coverage doesn't touch ours. Have a nice day, but I do know your a Verizon troll, so let me elaborate more on your ignorant tail. VERIZON DOES NOT HAVE BLANKET COVERAGE, VERIZON ROAMS ONTO SPRINT TOO!!!! WOO HOO! Who cares, go back to your own forum.

Just because Verizon came up with a fancy new name for roam (extended network) doesn't mean it's any differnt. A rose is a rose by any other name.

If you really don't like Sprint, stay out of the forum.

with my work i travel to almost every state twice a year my verizon phone only roamed in one area, they have rock solid service almost everywhere. my sprint phone was constantly 'searching for service' -very annoying, i would have to wait for it to pick up some tower before I could even call out. sprint needs to build out allot more its very annoying.

yea the big red checkmark gives it super powers "I travel almost everywhere" in a ten mile radius. that makes you the end all of know it alls on cell phones.

Your point is moot. If Verizon works for you *congrats* we don't give a crap, its all based on your needs and where you travel, read a couple posts down, its directed to idiots like you. Verizon Troll.

Honestly, do you verizon guys have a life? Yea its a nice company but you guys act as if Verizon is giving you money for kissing their asses. And to answer the op's question yes the Sanyo M1 has data roaming, i was using it the other day while in the country where my Sprint and my uncles Verizon phone we're both roaming on alltell.

I did for 4 days. And couldn't get back to the store fast enough. Verizon coverage in eastern NC SUCKS. You are in extended network all the time or no service. When I got back to the store and said I don't get service. He said oh we can force it to stay in extended network for you. I said no thanks if I wanted that I would go down the street to alltel. Cancel the service I was stupid for trying to leave sprint!

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Don't have to rehearse it. Its the truth. I have nothing to gain. I find verizon excellent in say NJ! They just started here and got way ahead of themselves and started selling service before tehy had the coverage in place!

ok, So what is a a prl number? I just called Sprint Vision Teck support and he told me that the Sanyo M1 can't data roam, only Voice Roam. So, do the reps even know what they are talking about. You know I have had Sprint for 6 years now. And with all the advertising about Power Vison, for Alltel to come out with it in my area before Sprint, just really makes me mad. Sprint is still way behind when it comes to the smaller metro areas it looks like.

That's good to here. So, does this mean if I live in a smaller metro area I could be waiting up to another year before we have EV DO coverage in my area? And what is a PRL number? Do I have to call customer service teck support to get it? Thanks

Sprint and alltel are more then likely having issues with EVDO roaming. The correct PRL for the M1 is 60606.

Thumb tac?

We are the second largest CDMA Carrier and you are a tool with no knowledge. No one carrier is superior over the other. It depends on location. If you think T-Mobile is better, you have a lot to learn.
